What we collect

Account information

When you sign up, we collect your email address and either a password or a Google OAuth token (if you sign in with Google). Authentication is handled by Supabase. We do not see or store your Google password.

Order data captured from iPlan

When you use iPlanBetter to send orders, save a standing order, or scan a route, the extension reads order quantities, customer IDs, product IDs, and route IDs from the iPlan grid you're working in. This data is stored in your iPlanBetter account so the extension can replay your standing order, detect outliers against your 4-week moving average, and show your run history.

We store the following per your account: standing orders, weekly order snapshots, customer and product lists for your routes, and route scan timestamps.

Run history and audit data

Every action you run (Send Order, Copy Last Week, Zero Out, etc.) is recorded so you can see your run history and undo recent runs. This includes which cells were edited, when, and the result status.

Anonymous usage analytics

We collect non-personal analytics so we can detect breakages and improve reliability:

• Action name (e.g. send-order) and status (success/failed)
• Duration and number of cells edited
• Extension version
• The page origin and path you ran the action on (e.g. flowersfoods.antuit.ai/dpo/predictive-ordering) — query strings stripped
• Grid dimensions and which DOM selectors worked or failed

These analytics are not linked to your user ID and do not include order quantities, customer names, or product names. You can opt out in Settings.

Bug reports

When you submit a bug report from the extension, we receive: the description you typed, your email address, your extension version, the active tab URL, the route you were on, and the last 30 lines of your in-extension activity log. Bug reports are user-initiated — they are only sent when you click Submit.

Payment data

Token purchases are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your card number. We store the Stripe transaction ID, the amount, the token pack purchased, and your token balance.

Local storage

The extension stores a small set of preferences in your browser's local storage (e.g. whether you've completed onboarding, your TastyKake preference). These never leave your browser unless you've also signed in, in which case they may sync to your account.

How we use your data

• To run the orders, snapshots, and reviews you ask the extension to run
• To show your run history and let you undo recent runs
• To detect order quantities that drift from your 4-week moving average and surface them for review
• To send you transactional emails (sign-in confirmation, password reset, purchase receipt)
• To process token purchases and grant credits
• To fix bugs and improve reliability

We do not sell your data. We do not use your order data to train AI models. We do not share your data with Flowers Foods, Antuit, or any third party other than the subprocessors listed below.

Subprocessors

We use the following vendors to operate iPlanBetter. Each receives only the data necessary to perform its function:

• Supabase — database and authentication
• Stripe — payment processing for token purchases
• cPanel / AlmaLinux hosting — operates api.distributorbooks.com, which receives bug reports and proxies authenticated requests

Permissions the Chrome extension requests

iPlanBetter requests these Chrome permissions, each for a specific purpose:

• sidePanel — to render the iPlanBetter sidebar
• scripting + activeTab — to read and edit cells in the iPlan grid you have open
• tabs — to know which tab is iPlan
• downloads — to capture iPlan's export when you trigger an action that needs current order data
• storage — to remember your preferences locally
• identity — for Google OAuth sign-in
• alarms — to check whether your route data has gone stale

The extension only runs on iPlan / Workcloud pages (flowersfoods.antuit.ai) and our own backend (api.distributorbooks.com). It does not read other browser tabs.

Data retention

Your account data is kept while your account is active. If you delete your account, we erase your order data, run history, snapshots, and bug reports.

Some records related to billing and tax (Stripe transactions, invoices) must be retained for the period required by applicable law, even after account deletion.

Anonymous analytics records do not contain identifiers and are retained indefinitely for trend analysis.

Your choices

• Opt out of analytics — Settings → "Telemetry opt-out"
• Export your data — email support@distributorbooks.com
• Delete your account — Settings → "Delete account" (or email us). This wipes order data, run history, and snapshots; billing records are retained as noted above.
• Sign out — clears local cache; your account data remains until you ask us to delete it

Children

iPlanBetter is a tool for working distributors and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

If we make a material change to this policy, we'll notify you in the extension or by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
